Evening concert at St. Vituskirche in Hochelten

On Sunday 19 April, at 5.00 pm, an evening concert organised by the Bach Collegium Rhenanum will take place at St. Vitus Kirche in Hochelten.

The cantata BWV 104, ‘Du Hirte Israel, höre’, the ‘Cum Sancto Spiritu’ from Johann Sebastian Bach’s Mass in G minor, and the solo cantata ‘Seele, lerne dich erkennen’ for soprano, alto recorder and basso continuo by Georg Philipp Telemann will be performed during the evening concert.

The soloists are Anne Wefelnberg (soprano), Roelof Polinder (tenor), Janko Fraanje (bass) and Monika Seiler (recorder). The choir and orchestra of the Bach Collegium Rhenanum will perform under the baton of Wim Wijting. The concert is organised by the Klevische Verein für Kultur und Geschichte – Freunde der Schwanenburg e.V.

The concert series is organised as part of the Interreg programme Deutschland – Nederland and co-financed by the European Union.

Admission to the concert is free. A collection will be taken.
